Wistaria 531 members sponsored a Cookie Decorating Lollapalooza and created "masterpiece cookies" for delivery to our local veterans on Valentine's Day. The result of our efforts - "from novice blobs with sprinkles to amazing designs" - and it was an afternoon filled with laughter and fun! Lunch bags were given to local school children to decorate and to write valentine messages on, and then valentines and other miscellaneous goodies were inserted into the bags along with the cookies. Our sometimes forgotten and overlooked local Veterans were surprised and grateful to receive these gifts expressing our appreciation. This annual event provided over 300 packages to our heroes!
